The Topeka Tinman Results are final and posted. The KLM staff will mail the following awards in the near future: Short Course Age Group, Short Course Team, Short Course Clydesdale, Long Course Duathlon, Long Course Clydesdale and Long Course Team. We apologize for the inconvenience. We wanted to ensure all the results were correct before handing out the awards. Thank you for supporting our events.

KLM announces the 2009 Topeka Tinman Date! The 29th Annual Topeka Tinman will be held on June 20th, 2009. This will be on the same Fathers Day weekend as it has always been. The race is one week after Ironman Kansas 70.3! This will allow athletes to compete in both events if they choose!

Weather Policy:
In the event of bad weather that may cause any KLM event to be delayed or canceled the following protocol will be followed.

  • A safety assessment of the current weather at race time will be determined by KLM Marketing Solutions and local law enforcement agencies.
  • If the KLM staff or local law enforcement agencies feel it is unsafe to compete, the race will be delayed 15 minutes.
  • After the 15 minutes has passed another assessment will be conducted at that time.
  • If the KLM staff and local law enforcement agencies feel it is safe the race will then be started.
  • In the event that the weather does not allow the event to start after the first 15 minute delay and second and final 15 minute delay will be put in place.
  • After the second 15 minute delay has passed and it is safe to compete the race will then be started.
  • In the event that the weather does not allow the event to start after the second 15 minute delay the race will then be canceled.
  • Upon the cancellation of the event it will not be rescheduled for that calendar year.
  • Under no circumstances will refunds be offered due to an event being canceled because of weather.

    NO REFUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR ANY KLM MARKETING SOLUTIONS EVENTS (HEREAFTER "KLM"), REGARDLESS OF THE REASONS.
    IF AN ATHLETE REGISTERS FOR ANY KLM EVENT AND CAN NOT ATTEND DUE TO ILLNESS, INJURIES OR PERSONAL REASONS YOUR
    REGISTRATION FEE WILL NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER KLM EVENT, NOR WILL A REFUND BE ALLOWED. PLEASE READ EACH
    REGISTRATION STEP THOROUGHLY BEFORE PROCEDING TO THE NEXT STEP. THIS IS A STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURE OF ALL
    KLM EVENTS AND THE KANSAS CITY SPORTS COMMISSION.
